This mirror was designed "out of the box", so that the mirror was less the focus and instead allow the brightly colored glass and interesting accent pieces to catch the eye. Mirrored glass, stained glass, glass fusing rods, glass beads, and glass frit pull the eye inwards and back outwards again when admiring this piece. Intended for interior use only.

A single bluebonnet stands out in a field of tall standing grass, lit from behind with the sunrise of a new day. Tempered glass was glued down for the sky, and special, otherworldly colored mineral pigments were used to create a beautifully "lit" orange, pink and purple Texas sunrise.
Beautiful and seemingly delicate (it's not!), the entire piece is encapsulated by lead and hung by ¼" jack chain. This piece can be hung outside as it has been sealed with 20 year safe sealant.

Thinset has been applied in several layers, each layer tinted by hand with mineral pigments and all of the beads have been applied one by one with careful and thoughtful placement.

"Love Abounds"
An original design by Masterpiece Glass, this mosaic was inspired by the passing of the Equal Marriage Act of 2015, "Love Abounds" celebrates the love forever surrounding us. Bright and vibrant colors of the rainbow, chosen from Kokomo art glass, emanate from the center of this mosaic and reach out in all directions, while marbled grey glass pulls the eye outward. This mosaic is mounted on mdf board and is to be hung indoors only, not intended for exterior hanging or excessive humidity.

This delightful glass on glass mosaic is a totally different take on using stained glass in mosaics. Glass on glass allows for the extreme detail that mosaics offer, while still utilizing the natural light to enhance the mosaic. The colors in the tulip were carefully selected and glued down, capturing all of the shadowing and natural changes in color that an actual tulip has. The dragonfly is built completely out of irridized glass, including the wings! Grey grout is used on the entire piece, but the tulip has red mineral pigment applied to allow the flower to stand out even further and the dragonfly has had silver glitter mineral pigment applied so it sparkles even further. The hammered glass applied to the rest of the piece captures sunlight so that it appears that the glass is illuminated by a thousand diamonds.

"Upward Bound"
This beautiful and other-worldly wall mosaic is a one-of-a-kind work of art perfect for hanging in the home, office or place of worship. The background, upon which the stained glass and beads has been set, is several layers of thinset, allowing a three dimensional rough texture to the substrate. The glass has been cut by hand and carefully glued onto the surface with hand-dyed thinset. Glass and multi-dimensional beads were thoughtfully selected and included in the piece, around which the stained glass flows upward and outward off the substrate. Gold mineral pigment was brushed on to the thinset as well as in certain sections of glass to bring brilliance and definition to the piece.

This gorgeous s, one-of-a-kind mirror will stop anyone in their tracks to admire their dazzling reflection - once they have been able to stop staring at the mosaic! Thousands of piece of glass were handcut and applied individually to the mirror base and no single ray of "starshine" is the same color. The exterior sides of the substrate are painted black so as to allow the color of the stained glass to really pop. The interior of the mirror has been covered in stained glass frit, matching the interior of the mirror to the stained glass in a seamless gradient of color. For indoor use only.

A delightful swirling of turtles, rocks, metal beads, gold swirls, and crosses remind us that, yes, love does make the world go 'round! Different batches of thin set were hand tinted with mineral pigments and applied in layers in order to create the multi-textured background. Each bead was placed by hand using mineral pigmented thinset to blend in seamlessly into the background. The surface has gold mineral pigment carefully brushed on to help create the illusion of movement in the piece.

This beautiful hanging wall mandala mosaic was inspired by an upcoming trip to the beach with the idea that water is all around us and that all directions point to the sea. This mosaic was made using multiple shades of iridized stained glass to catch the light perfectly, along with bright primary colors. The exterior of the mosaic incorporates dark blue Kokomo stained glass cut to emulate waves of the ocean, while the glass frit represents the sand from the beach and a collection of seashells gives a three dimensional feel to the mosaic. This mosaic is mounted on mdf board and is to be hung indoors only, not intended for exterior hanging or excessive humidity.
